Abstract

This research examines the development of development of picture storybook media to increase learning motivation of PAUD students. The research this study aims to determine the development of storybook media. Storybook media in motivating learning for children aged 4-6 years at Harapan Kita Kindergarten that is valid and to determine the effectiveness of development of illustrated storybook media in motivating children's learning aged 4-6 years at Harapan Kita Kindergarten. Model development picture storybook. This research was conducted at Harapan Kita Kindergarten which located in Laburan Village, Padang Panjang RT 001, Tanta District, Tabalong Regency, South Kalimantan. Tabalong, South Kalimantan by involving Harapan Kita Kindergarten students as many as 30 students students, and 3 experts consisting of 1 learning media expert, 1 material expert, and 1 practitioner. Material expert, and 1 PAUD practitioner. Researchers use the ADDIE Model which consists of five stages, namely analysis, design, development, and implementation. (design), development (development), implementation (implementation), and evaluation (evaluation) that must be carried out. And evaluation that must be done systematically.  Techniques data collection techniques used consisted of observation, interviews, questionnaires, literature study, and documents. Data analysis includes validity analysis and analysis of product effectiveness. The results of this study are divided into two, namely. Based on the results of expert validation, it can be seen that there are 86% of media experts, 84.6% from material experts, and 88.6% from expert practitioners. Seeing the value of all above 80%, it can be concluded that the picture book is declared feasible to be.
