Abstract

The results of this study discuss the Collaboration of Public Organizations in the Prevention and Handling of Sexual Violence Against Children in Indragiri Hulu Regency. The method used in this study is qualitative with a descriptive phenomenological approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews and documentation. To analyze the data there are several, namely Managing, Reading & Memoing, Describing, Classifying, Interpreting, and Representing, Visualizing data. The results of the study indicate that the collaboration between DPPPA and Polres in the prevention and handling of sexual violence against children in Indragiri Hulu Regency has not run optimally, although several indicators have been met such as the structure of the cooperation network, the trust that has been built, the commitment of each agency involved, and information sharing. However, this collaboration is also influenced by several factors that hinder the collaboration process, namely the form of accountability for collaboration is only limited to accountability to each agency, the absence of joint rules and SOPs in collaboration, and the availability of inadequate resources which causes governance not to run well which can hinder the collaboration process. The need for increased private and academic parties and public awareness to strengthen commitment in efforts to prevent sexual violence against children in Indragiri Hulu Regency.
