Indonesian Journal of Petroleum Geoengineering (pISSN In Progress, eISSN In Progress) is the leading primary research journal in the fields of petroleum and geoengineering with a particular focus on petrolelum extraction and process in Indonesia. Indonesian Journal of Petroleum Geoengineering is published by Universitas Islam Riau (UIR) Press, three times a year, every April, Agustus, and December. Indonesian Journal of Petroleum Geoengineering publishes manuscripts on every aspect of petroleum science, from the start of the extraction process in drilling and completion technology, reservoir studies, and new method of recovery to the various production technique (see Focus and scope). Our authors and readers reflect a broad interdisciplinary group of scientists who study petroleum exploration, extraction, and processing.

All research articles published in Indonesian Journal of Petroleum Geoengineering are subject to rigorous double-blind peer review, and editorial decisions are made by a team of expert researchers in the field, supported by an Editorial Board. Indonesian Journal of Petroleum Geoengineering welcomes all types of manuscript such as original research articles, review articles, short communications, and case study.
